White Mezcal Negroni

A beautifully clear but intensely flavored riff on the White Negroni. It tames the aggressive smoke of the mezcal by stirring it down with sweet bianco vermouth and the dry, earthy bitterness of Suze (a French gentian liqueur).

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.

  • Prepare a garnish of lemon zest twist, expressed and discarded.

  • Stir all ingredients with ice.

  • Strain into an ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or a block of ice).
