What the panel is
For five years, Mezcal Culture has helped people find good mezcal and the bars, festivals and tastings worth showing up for. Now we want more voices behind the recommendations.
The Reviewer Panel is a small group of agave experts who write short, honest reviews of bottles they pick or we assign. Each review runs on mezcalculture.com and in The Mezcal Download, with your name on it.
We're looking for people who:
work with agave spirits: sommeliers, certified agave specialists, bartenders, bar managers, educators, tasting hosts
have tasted widely across regions, agaves and production styles
can describe a mezcal so a curious drinker knows whether they'd like it
will say so when a bottle isn't good
We welcome reviewers anywhere, including Mexico, and in English or Spanish.
