Savoia Plane
The Savoia Plane is a freshening, delicately smoky aperitivo that offers a complex, Italian-leaning riff on the Naked and Famous. It expertly balances the earthy depth of mezcal and the bittersweet richness of Savoia Americano Rosso with the herbal complexity of Yellow Chartreuse and a tart punch of fresh lemon juice. Softened by a touch of honey syrup and rounded out by Creole-style bitters and a drop of saline, this shaken cocktail is elegantly served up in a chilled Nick & Nora glass with a green olive garnish.
Ingredients:
25 ml Savoia Americano Rosso
20 ml Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
2 drop Saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or a mere pinch of salt
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a Nick and Nora glass.
Prepare green olives for garnish.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a green olive.
