Mexican El Diablo
Mexican El Diablo is a bold, smoky riff on the Trader Vic classic that swaps the traditional tequila for the assertive, earthy notes of mezcal. It brilliantly harmonizes this robust agave foundation with the rich, dark berry flavors of crème de cassis and a bright punch of fresh lime juice. Shaken and served long over ice in a Collins glass, it is topped with fiery ginger beer and elegantly finished with a simple lime wedge for a perfectly balanced, refreshing highball.
Ingredients:
22.5 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
60 ml Thomas Henry Ginger Beer
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a Collins glass.
Prepare a garnish of a lime wedge.
Shake the first 3 ingredients with ice.
Strain into an ice-filled glass whilst also pouring ginger beer.
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim.
