Grasshopper No. 2
The Grasshopper No. 2 is a highly complex, mezcal and amaro-influenced riff on the classic creamy dessert cocktail. It elevates the traditional base of white crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and heavy cream by introducing the earthy smoke of mezcal, the herbal depth of Brancamenta, and a delicate whisper of absinthe. Shaken and served over crushed ice with a drop of green food coloring to restore its signature hue, it is decadently garnished with grated chocolate and a fresh mint bouquet.
Ingredients:
7.5 ml Brancamenta
37.5 ml Double cream / heavy cream
1 pea Green food colour gel
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill an old-fashioned glass
Prepare garnish of grated chocolate and mint sprigs.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into a glass filled with crushed ice.
Dust with grated chocolate and garnish with a mint sprig bouquet.
Serve with a straw.
