Kummel Ye Faithful

The Kümmel Ye Faithful is a transportive, deeply complex nightcap originally created as the perfect winter fireside digestivo. It elegantly marries the robust smoke of mezcal and peated single malt Scotch whisky with the rich, raisiny sweetness of Pedro Ximénez sherry and the distinctive caraway notes of Kümmel liqueur. Stirred with a few drops of liquorice bitters and served up in a chilled Nick & Nora glass, it is gracefully garnished with a star anise pod for an exceptionally aromatic, spirit-forward sipper.

Ingredients:

• 25 ml Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal

• 15 ml Torabhaig Peated Single Malt Whisky

• 7.5 ml Kummel liqueur

• 7.5 ml Lustau San Emilio Pedro Ximénez Sherry

• 4 drops Bob's Liquorice bitters

Instructions:

• Select and pre-chill a Nick and Nora glass.

• Prepare a garnish of star anise.

• Stir all ingredients with ice.

• Fine strain into a chilled glass.

• Garnish with star anise floated on the surface.
