Daisy Marie is a vibrant and fiery cocktail that brilliantly bridges the gap between a tropical Porn Star Martini and a chili-spiced Mezcal Margarita. It expertly layers the robust, earthy smoke of mezcal with the sweet, tropical notes of passion fruit liqueur and a touch of vanilla syrup. Balanced by a bright punch of fresh lime juice and a spicy kick of hot pepper sauce, this shaken cocktail is perfectly finished in an Old-Fashioned glass with a savory Tajín rim.
Ingredients:
22.5 ml Passoã passion fruit liqueur
10 ml Vanilla sugar syrup
30 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
6 drops of hot pepper sauce (red vinegar-based, e.g., Tabasco)
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill an old-fashioned glass.
RIM glass with Tajín seasoning (moisten the outside edge with lime or orange juice and drip into Tajín).
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into an ice-filled glass.
