Daily Grind
Daily Grind is an effortlessly refreshing riff on the classic Moscow Mule that swaps traditional vodka for the earthy complexity of Mezcal Rosaluna. Designed as a simple, end-of-day reward, it directly builds 1.5 oz of the smoky mezcal and 0.5 oz of fresh lime juice in a chilled, ice-filled mule mug. The drink is then topped off with 4 oz of spicy, effervescent ginger beer to perfectly balance the roasted agave notes. It is finished with a rustic lime shell and a piece of candied ginger on a pick for a sweet and spicy bite.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Mezcal Rosaluna
0.5 oz Lime juice
4 oz Thomas Henry Ginger Beer
Garnish: Lime shell and candied ginger
Instructions:
Nothing like a daily drink to accompany the daily grind. The last thing we want to do at the end of a long day is play bartender, so treat yourself to an easy Mezcal Mule instead.
Just crack open a (ginger) beer, slice up a lime, and let Rosaluna do the work of bringing it all together. Build in a chilled mule mug, then fill with fresh ice cubes. Garnish with the lime shell and a piece of candied ginger on a pick. That was easy.
