Bloom & Smoke is a sophisticated coffee-and-spice cocktail that frames the elegant, agave-forward smoke of Corte Vetusto Espadín Mezcal. Built directly over ice in a glass, it combines 35ml of the artisanal mezcal with 15ml of rich espresso liqueur and 10ml of a fragrant, herbal rosemary syrup. Layered with 2 dashes of cocoa-driven Aztec chocolate bitters, this deeply aromatic and slow-sipping creation presents a beautifully balanced, earthy twist on the modern craft coffee cocktail.

  • Combine the liquids: Add the 20ml Mezcal, 20ml Espresso Liqueur, and 10ml Rosemary syrup into a mixing glass filled with ice.

  • Add the bitters: Drop in 3 dashes of Aztec chocolate bitters to bring out the rich, earthy undertones.

  • Chill and mix: Stir the ingredients well with ice until perfectly chilled and diluted.

  • Strain and serve: Strain the mixture into your serving glass (usually over a fresh large ice cube or served up, depending on your preference).

  • Finish with aromatics: Garnish or express with Spice Notes No. 2 to release the warming spice aromas right before taking a sip.
