Amethyst
Amethyst is a vibrant, deeply flavorful cocktail built on a "melody of contrast," beautifully balancing deep herbal notes with a fiery kick. To create it, shake 1.5 oz of Ojo de Tigre Mezcal, 0.5 oz of tart lemon juice, and 0.5 oz of sweet hibiscus syrup vigorously with ice. Strain the rich, purple liquid over fresh ice into a glass, and top it off with 2 oz of crisp ginger beer or ginger ale. Give it a gentle stir to integrate the effervescence, and garnish with fresh lemon wedges and an aromatic sprig of rosemary.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Ojo de Tigre Mezcal
0.5 oz Hibiscus Syrup
2 oz Ginger Beer or Ale
Instructions:
Add the lemon juice, hibiscus syrup, and mezcal to a shaker and shake vigorously. Serve over ice, then top with ginger beer. Mix lightly and decorate with lemon wedges and a sprig of rosemary.
