Bosscal Mezcal is built on the philosophy to "Be Bold, Live Wild." Driven by a love for adventure, discovery, and an appreciation of wild spaces, the brand is deeply committed to being a good steward of the Earth. Through their "Mountain to Market" approach, they ensure all agave is wild-grown in mountainous regions, free of pesticides, and transported down the slopes by donkeys. Bosscal utilizes highly sustainable, traditional artisanal production methods—such as underground pit-roasting, hand-grinding, and natural, chemical-free fermentation—to produce 100% organic mezcal. Emphasizing authentic connection, community, creativity, and the joy of life, their spirits are crafted to be both environmentally conscious and exceptionally pure.



MEZCALS OFFERED:

  • Joven: An approachable, crisp, and incredibly smooth unaged mezcal that stands out with its light smoke profile. It features vibrant, sweet, and tart citrus notes of orange and blood orange, offering a highly refreshing and very well-balanced palate.

  • Damiana: A unique, aromatic expression created by incorporating the wild Damiana flower during the second distillation. This herb, which thrives alongside the agave, was highly favored by the Aztecs and is historically known for its euphoric and aphrodisiac properties. The resulting spirit maintains the crisp, light smoke and blood orange notes of the Joven, but introduces amazing herbal and floral complexities that are beautifully balanced.

  • Conejo (Pechuga de Conejo): A highly limited, triple-distilled celebratory mezcal. During the third distillation, the vapors pass through a suspended, skinless rabbit (conejo) along with a seasonal medley of local fruits. The liquid retains Bosscal's signature light smoke and citrus backbone, but is deepened by rich, beautifully balanced hints of local apples, mandarin, apricot, plum, and quince.
