Mocel Mezcal is a tribute to family, farming, and centuries of tradition, founded by two sisters who were born and raised in rural Washington State to farmworker immigrants from Michoacán, Mexico. Growing up between the lush farmlands of the Yakima Valley and rural Michoacán, they learned the value of hard work, cultivating land, and making authentic food. Mocel honors 400 years of artisanship by producing small-batch, artisanal mezcals entirely in Michoacán without any additives—just 100% agave and water. Unique to their region, they utilize traditional "Michoacán Stills" (wooden-covered stills, often referred to as Tarascan stills), ensuring that each limited release captures the authentic flavors of the agave and the terroir. The brand is deeply committed to crafting pure, clean spirits designed to be savored and shared among family and friends.

Cupreata Expression: A Double Gold medal-winning spirit made from 100% Agave Cupreata (locally known as Chino), which is distinctive to the Michoacán region. This expression strikes a perfect balance with a delicate, herbaceous profile. It surprises the palate with crisp grassy flavors, distinct mineral notes, and a wonderfully smooth, low-smoke finish.
Ensamble Expression: Another Double Gold medal-winning, highly limited-batch release (often yielding fewer than 600 bottles per batch). Distilled from a carefully selected blend of three regional agaves—Cupreata, Inaequidens, and Espadincillo. This mezcal is exceptionally aromatic, offering a rich bouquet filled with bright floral and vegetal notes, allowing you to beautifully taste the sweet, raw nectar of the agaves.
