Join Chef Isai and Steven from Tahona Mercado in this immersive cooking class, you’ll learn to make fresh tortillas and memelitas from scratch while sipping on a curated selection of artisanal mezcal from Mal Bien—a brand dedicated to showcasing small-batch, family-made mezcales from across Mexico.

Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll knead, press, and cook your own Maiz masa creations, learning the subtle techniques that bring these beloved staples to life. We’ll top our memelitas with queso fresco, refried beans, and salsa macha.

Throughout the night, enjoy a guided tasting of Mal Bien mezcal, featuring three distinct expressions, each with its own story and terroir. We’ll pair the mezcal with traditional botanas (snacks) like roasted peanuts with chile-lime, jícama with Tajín, and seasonal fruit.
