Watermelon Sgroppino
Mezcal meets watermelon sorbet in Fanny Chu’s updated Sgroppino. With a smoky-sweet profile, her modern take is more than an after-dinner drink; it’s an all-day affair. For a less smoky profile, try it with a different white spirit, such as gin, rum, tequila, or vodka.
Ingredients:
1 scoop watermelon sorbet (see Editor's Note)
1 1/2 ounces mezcal
Instructions:
Serve the sorbet in a coupe and top with mezcal.
Garnish with a mint leaf and a lime wheel.
