The Panda

El Panda is a complex, playfully vibrant cocktail that blends creamy tropical textures with bright, bittersweet citrus. Crafted by shaking artisanal mezcal with rich coconut milk (leche de coco), simple syrup, and tart fresh lime juice, it is layered with orange-forward Cointreau and the bittersweet botanical complexity of Aperol. Shaken with ice for 15 seconds and strained into a chilled old fashioned glass over a fresh ice cube, this smooth and uniquely sunset-hued drink is playfully garnished with a skewer of Panditas (gummy bears).

Ingredients:

  • 60 ml Mezcal Mitre Origen

  • 30 ml Aperol

  • 20 ml Cointreau

  • 20 ml Coconut Milk

  • 20 ml Lemon Juice

  • 15 ml Natural Syrup

  • Ice

  • Pandas

Instructions:

  • In a shaker, combine ice, Mezcal Mitre Origen, coconut milk, simple syrup, and lime juice. Add Cointreau and Aperol, and shake for 15 seconds. Place an ice cube in a chilled old-fashioned glass and strain through.

  • Decorate with a panda bear skewer.
