The OOO (Out of Office) is a vibrant, vacation-ready cocktail that perfectly balances smoky agave with juicy, floral summer fruit. It builds a refreshing base by combining 1.5 oz of hibiscus-and-watermelon-infused Mezcal Rosaluna, 1 oz of fresh watermelon juice, 0.75 oz of simple syrup, and 0.25 oz of fresh lime juice. Shaken vigorously with ice until thoroughly chilled, the bright pink mixture is strained directly into a sleek coupe glass. The drink is beautifully finished with a rim of equal parts salt, sugar, and cayenne pepper for a sweet and spicy kick.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Hibiscus watermelon infused Rosaluna*
1 oz Watermelon juice
0.75 oz Simple syrup
0.25 oz Fresh lime juice
Garnish: Sweet and spicy rim (equal parts salt, sugar, and cayenne pepper)
Instructions:
Summer is for vacation. Vacation is for turning your phone TF off and getting that PTO (with this drink in hand)! Even if you can’t fly anywhere just yet, drink this for a mini vacay in the meantime.
Build all ingredients in a mixing tin with ice. Shake well and strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a sweet and spicy rim. Aahhhh.
*Hibiscus watermelon infused Rosaluna:
Snag this tea from Republic of Tea and place 15 tea bags in a liter of Rosaluna for 15 minutes. Strain and squeeze all alcohol from the tea bags. Bottle up for a rainy day.
