The Lost Paloma

Lost and Mojito is a crisp, herbaceous, and deeply refreshing twist on the standard Cuban classic that swaps out rum for an agave backbone. It shakes up 1.5 oz of smoky The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadín alongside 0.75 oz of fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz of simple agave syrup, and a small handful of fresh, lightly slapped mint leaves to release their aromatic oils. Served in a patterned highball glass over crushed ice and lengthened with a splash of effervescent club soda, it is beautifully presented with a vibrant bouquet of extra mint sprigs and a lime wedge.

Ingredients:

  • 1½ oz / 45 ml The Lost Explorer Mezcal Espadín

  • 3 oz / 90 ml Grapefruit Juice

  • ¼ oz / 7.5 ml Lime Juice

  • Tonic water to top (optional)

  • Rimmed with volcanic salt & grapefruit slice

Instructions:

  • Combine all ingredients except tonic water in a shaker with ice. Shake it up. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. Sit in the sunshine.
