Single Village Fix
The Single Village Fix is a delightfully fruity and delicately smoky sour originally created by Thad Vogler in San Francisco. It elegantly showcases the earthy depth of mezcal by balancing it with the tropical sweetness of pineapple syrup and a bright splash of fresh pineapple and lime juices. Enhanced by a few optional drops of Daiquiri bitters and a touch of saline, this vibrant cocktail is shaken and served up in a chilled coupe with a simple lime wedge garnish.
Ingredients:
22.5 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
15 ml Pineapple sugar syrup
5 ml Pineapple juice
6 drops of Difford's Daiquiri Bitters (optional)
3 drops of saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or a mere pinch of salt
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a coupe glass.
Prepare a garnish of a lime wedge.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
