Rhubarb Margarita
Mezcaloma is a bright, deeply refreshing twist on a Mexican classic that effortlessly marries the smooth, earthy smoke of artisanal mezcal with a vibrant splash of fresh lime juice. Built directly over ice in a highball glass and generously topped with effervescent pink grapefruit soda, this beautifully simple cooler is perfectly finished with a fresh grapefruit or lime wedge.
Ingredients:
25 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
20 ml Rhubarb syrup
3 drops of saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or a mere pinch of salt
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill an old-fashioned glass.
Prepare a garnish of a lime wedge.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into an ice-filled glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
