Orange Maria

A bright and vegetal daytime cocktail that flips the Bloody Maria on its head. Instead of heavy tomato juice, it uses a base of fresh yellow tomato or carrot juice, mixing it with mezcal, fresh citrus, and a punch of hot sauce for a lighter, golden-hued brunch drink.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. mezcal

  • Fresh carrot juice

  • Ginger beer

  • Fresh orange juice

Instructions:

  • Fill a Collins glass with ice and add the mezcal. Fill the glass about 3/4 of the way with carrot juice. Top with ginger beer and a splash of orange juice and stir to combine. Garnish.
