Oaxacan on Broken Glass

A spicy, tropical Mezcal cocktail that incorporates fresh pineapple juice, lime, and Ancho Reyes Verde (green chile liqueur) with a beautifully spiced rim.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. mezcal (Clever Coyote uses Banhez)

  • 1/2 oz. Ancho Reyes chile liqueur

  • 3/4 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 1/2 oz. simple syrup

  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

  • 2 dashes habanero bitters (Clever Coyote uses Scrappy's)

Instructions:

  • Add all of the ingredients to an ice-filled shaker, give it a quick shake, then pour the contents into the glass. Garnish.
