Mandarin Mojito
Mojito de Mandarina is a bright, seasonal twist on the classic mint highball that highlights citrus energy and warming spice. Prepared by muddling fresh mandarins, mint leaves, and slices of spicy ginger together directly in a shaker with artisanal mezcal, the mixture is shaken with ice and double-strained into a highball glass. Topped off with bubbly mineral water, it is finished beautifully with a fresh sprig of spearmint.
Ingredients:
45 ml Mezcal Mitre Origen
2 Mandarins
4 Mint leaves
2 slices of ginger
90 ml mineral water
Instructions:
In a shaker, combine the tangerines, mint leaves, ginger, and Mezcal Mitre Origen. Muddle until all the fruit juice is extracted, then add ice halfway. Shake for 15 seconds, then strain into a highball glass using the double-strainer technique.
Garnish with a sprig of mint.
