Great Silence

A spirit-forward, stirred sipper that takes Mezcal and layers it with Blanc vermouth, Yellow Chartreuse, and orange bitters for an herbal, honeyed, and smoky profile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. mezcal (Shumway uses Del Maguey Vida)

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 3/4 oz. Campari

  • 1/2 oz. orgeat (Shumway uses Small Hand Foods)

  • 2-3 dashes maraschino liqueur (Shumway uses Luxardo)

Instructions:

  • Shake all of the ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled glass and garnish.
