Flor de Fuego

Flor de Fuego is a bright, fiery cocktail that beautifully balances tropical sweetness with a bold kick of heat. It shakes up 1.5 oz of Paquera Espadín Mezcal with 1 oz of fresh pineapple juice, 0.5 oz of lime juice, and 0.25 oz of sweet agave syrup. A single, potent dash of Bittermens Hellfire Habanero Shrub is added to infuse the drink with a striking, spicy undertone. Vigorously shaken with ice and double-strained into a neat coupe glass, it is elegantly garnished with a sprinkling of dried rose petals.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Paquera Espadin Mezcal

  • 1 oz Fresh pineapple juice

  • 1/2 oz Lime juice

  • 1/4 oz Agave syrup

  • 1 dash Bittermens Hellfire Shrub

  • Dried rose petals (for garnish)

Instructions:

  • Combine: Add the mezcal, fresh pineapple juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and Hellfire Shrub into a cocktail shaker. (Note: For a spicier drink, add an extra dash of the shrub).

  • Shake: Fill the shaker with plenty of ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds to chill.

  • Strain: Double-strain the mixture into a coupe glass.

  • Garnish: Top with dried rose petals before serving.
