El Poblano

El Poblano is a cocktail recipe by Ilegal Mezcal. It's made with Ilegal Mezcal Joven, poblano pepper, lime juice, and agave nectar, and is served in a stemmed glass with a chipotle salt rim and a poblano slice garnish.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Ilegal Mezcal Joven

  • 2 slices of Poblano pepper

  • 1 oz lime juice

  • 0.5 oz agave nectar

    Chipotle salt:

  • 3 tsp chipotle en adobo purée

  • 1 cup kosher salt

  • Mix the Chipotle salt ingredients and let them dry.

Instructions:

Add ingredients to the shaker and shake. Strain into a stemmed glass with a chipotle salt rim. Garnish with a Poblano slice.
