Bloody Mary
Bloody Mary (Mitre style) is a bold, deeply savory brunch classic reinvented with a rich, smoky twist. Built by stirring artisanal mezcal directly in a glass or mug with fresh lime juice, umami-rich Worcestershire sauce (salsa inglesa), savory Maggi seasoning sauce, ground black pepper, salt, and hot sauce; the mixture is stirred over fresh ice for 15 seconds. Top off with a thick pour of chilled tomato juice and finish with a crisp stalk of fresh celery for the perfect classic garnish.
Ingredients:
45 ml Mezcal Mitre Origen
1/2 tsp. Hot sauce
1/2 tsp. Salt
1/2 tsp. Ground black pepper
5 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce
2 Dashes Maggi Sauce
30 ml Lemon juice
120 ml Tomato Juice
Celery
Ice.
Instructions:
In a jar, fill halfway with ice, then add Mezcal Mitre Origen, lime juice, Maggi sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Add ground pepper, salt, and hot sauce. Shake for 15 seconds and top with tomato juice.
Garnish with a stalk of celery.
