Why Firme mezcal?
Firme Mezcal brings together the traditions of Oaxaca with the culture and pride of the Mexican-American community. Founded by California native Alberto Ochoa, Firme works with artisan mezcaleros to create small-batch mezcals using traditional methods, including cooking agave in underground stone ovens, crushing it with a tahona, fermenting in wooden vats, and distilling in copper stills.
