ABOUT LAS CHINGONAS:
Las Chingonas Imports (which translates to “badass women”) began with a mission to showcase mezcals from Guerrero. Despite being one of Mexico’s most important mezcal-producing states, Guerrero remains underrepresented in the U.S. market. Founder Julia Cuthbertson, sought to change that by bringing these distinctive spirits into the hands of American drinkers. Since then, the project has grown to include spirits from Durango, Sonora, and Nuevo León.
What truly sets Las Chingonas apart is its unwavering commitment to keeping ownership with the families in Mexico—a rarity in U.S. importing. This ensures that producers directly share in the success of their craft.
