After years of unforgettable gatherings, we are thrilled to return to Copita Willow Glen for a very special evening led by the woman who started it all: Joanne Weir. Whether you are a seasoned tequila aficionado or simply looking for a vibrant night out with like-minded women, Agave Girls offers a celebratory environment to explore the flavor, history, and craft of Mexico’s finest spirit. We are thrilled to be partnering with LALO Tequila. LALO Premium Tequila Blanco is purely crafted for a clean taste and is made with only three ingredients: deep well water drawn from the heart of Jalisco’s mineral-rich Mexican soil, Champagne yeast selected for its harmoniously balanced flavor profile, and fully-mature Highland agave.

As the star of the award-winning PBS series Plates and Places and the author of the definitive guide Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails and Bites, Joanne brings an unmatched passion to the table. This is a rare opportunity to learn from experts while enjoying the lively atmosphere of the Copita Willow Glen Rooftop.

The evening is a curated journey through taste, blending Joanne’s expertise with the culinary brilliance of Executive Chef Azari Cuenca-Maitret.
The Welcome: The night begins at 6:00 PM with a cocktail reception. Mingle with Joanne and fellow guests while enjoying a signature Copita margarita and passed appetizers.
The Flight: Deepen your palate with a guided tasting flight of premium tequilas, exploring the nuances of LALO Blanco and High-Proof expressions.
The Meal: At 6:30 PM, we sit down for a masterful three-course dinner featuring Chef Azari’s signature culinary wonders, each course thoughtfully paired with a LALO tequila cocktail.
