This drink balances the smoky essence of Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal with the fresh, clean flavors of cucumber and cilantro. It’s an earthy, aromatic, and light drink, perfect for those who appreciate a more refreshing style of cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal

  • 3/4 oz fresh lime juice

  • 3/4 oz simple syrup

  • 3 cucumber slices (plus more for garnish)

  • 6–8 fresh cilantro leaves (or parsley if preferred)

  • Ice

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  • Muddle the greens: In a cocktail shaker, gently muddle the cucumber slices and cilantro leaves with the lime juice.

  • Add remaining ingredients: Add the Del Maguey Vida Clásico, simple syrup, a pinch of salt, and ice.

  • Shake: Shake vigorously for 15 seconds to combine and chill.

  • Strain and serve: Double strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass. Add ice if serving over rocks.

  • Garnish: Finish with a cucumber ribbon or a fresh lime wheel.
