Velasco and Sand

Introducing the Velasco and Sand, a sophisticated twist on the classic Blood & Sand cocktail. This drink elevates the original with a hint of smokiness from Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal, balanced by the rich notes of Heering Cherry Liqueur and Strucchi Rosso Vermouth. Finished with a zesty splash of fresh orange juice and an orange twist garnish, it offers a refreshing and flavorful experience with an uplifting kick.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal

  • 22.5 ml Heering Cherry Liqueur

  • 22.5 ml Strucchi Rosso Vermouth

  • 30 ml Orange juice (freshly squeezed)

Instructions:

  • Select and pre-chill a couple of glasses.

  • Prepare a garnish of Luxardo Maraschino

  • Cherry.

  • Shake all ingredients with ice.

  • Fine strain into a chilled glass.

  • Express the orange zest twist over the cocktail and use it as a garnish.
