The Very Last Word
The Very Last Word is a beautifully balanced, herbal sour that puts a complex, agave-forward spin on the classic Last Word by using a bold split base of mezcal and reposado tequila. Shaken to a frosty chill with the intense botanical complexity of Green Chartreuse, sweet maraschino liqueur, and fresh lime juice, this sophisticated drink is fine-strained into a chilled coupe.
Ingredients:
20 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
10 ml Oude genever
7.5 ml Hayman's London Dry Gin
7.5 ml Patrón Silver blanco tequila
2.5 ml Lavender sugar syrup
4 drops of Difford's Margarita Bitters
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a coupe glass.
Prepare a garnish of lime zest twist, discarded and skewered maraschino cherry.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled glass.
