The Long Goodbye
A beautifully bittersweet, low-ABV-adjacent cocktail. This recipe uses the vegetal, artichoke-laced bitterness of Cynar as its base, paired with a half-ounce of smoky mezcal, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of agave nectar.
Ingredients:
1½ oz. Cynar
½ oz. mezcal
1 oz. fresh orange juice
¼ oz. fresh lime juice
1 oz. soda water
Instructions:
Add the soda water to a Collins glass. Shake the remaining ingredients with ice. Double-strain into a Collins glass. Top with ice, then garnish.
