Spaghetti Western
Spaghetti Western is a deeply complex, spirit-forward nightcap that offers an Italian-influenced riff on the modern classic Oaxaca Old Fashioned template. Stirred to a velvety chill with reposado tequila, earthy mezcal, and orange bitters, it trades traditional sugar for the bittersweet, alpine herbal complexity of Amaro Nonino before being finished with an expressed grapefruit twist.
Ingredients:
30 ml Patrón Reposado tequila
22.5 ml Amaro Nonino Quintessentia
1 dash of Orange Bitters by Angostura
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill an old-fashioned glass.
Prepare a garnish of grapefruit zest twist.
Stir all ingredients with ice.
Strain into an ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
Express grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.
