Sorrento Sun

A bright, springtime variation of the mezcal margarita. It utilizes the sharp, zesty sweetness of Limoncello alongside the mezcal, perfectly balancing the smoke with Italian citrus notes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. mezcal

  • 1/2 oz. Luxardo Bitter Bianco

  • 1 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 3/4 oz. passion fruit and carrot syrup

Passion Fruit and Carrot Syrup

  • 3 1/2 oz. passion fruit purée

  • 1 1/2 oz. carrot juice

  • 5 oz. sugar

  • 5 oz. water

Instructions:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Fine strain into a large rocks glass over ice. Garnish.

  • Passion Fruit and Carrot Syrup: Combine the ingredients in a container and mix until sugar has dissolved. Will keep in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
