Smokey Almond
Smokey Almond is a wonderfully indulgent, complex dessert cocktail that layers the deep, artisanal smoke of mezcal with the rich, velvety sweetness of almond amaretto liqueur. Shaken to a frosty chill with fresh lemon juice and a touch of simple syrup to perfectly balance the nutty profile, this comforting sour is strained into a glass and finished with a fragrant, expressed lemon zest twist.
Ingredients:
20 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill an old-fashioned glass.
Prepare a garnish of roasted almonds.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Strain into an ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).
Garnish with a roasted almond placed on the ice.
