Rich Witch and Famous
Rich Witch and Famous is a brilliant, bittersweet riff on the modern classic Naked & Famous that cleverly substitutes traditional yellow Chartreuse for the vibrant, minty-herbal depth of Italian Strega liqueur. Shaken to a frosty chill with equal parts smoky mezcal, bittersweet orange-red aperitivo, and fresh lime juice, this complex sour is fine-strained into a chilled coupe for a beautifully balanced, neon-hued sipper.
Ingredients:
22.5 ml Del Maguey Vida Clásico Mezcal
22.5 ml liquore Strega
22.5 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
3 drops of saline solution (20g sea salt to 80g water) or a mere pinch of salt
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a coupe glass.
Prepare a garnish of a lime wedge or mini broomstick.
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim or a mini broomstick resting across the rim.
