Popolada Ble Float Disco
The Popolada Ble Float Disco is a vibrant, tropical showstopper that brilliantly balances the gentle smoke of mezcal with a rich, creamy blend of fresh pineapple, coconut, and a whisper of absinthe. Whipped and served over crushed ice, this highly textured, evolving sipper is playfully finished with a striking blue curaçao float for a signature "disco" effect.
Ingredients:
50 ml Del Maguey Vida Puebla
20 ml Lime juice
30 ml Coconut cream
50 ml Fresh pineapple juice
2 dashes Absinthe
Float Blue curaçao
Garnish with a pineapple wedge & a metal straw
Instructions:
Add Del Maguey Vida Puebla, lime juice, coconut cream, pineapple juice, and absinthe into a cocktail shaker.
Add a small scoop of ice and whip-shake for 8–12 seconds until well chilled and slightly frothy.
Fill a highball glass with crushed ice.
Pour the mixture over the crushed ice.
Gently add more crushed ice to create a slight mound.
Slowly pour a float of blue curaçao on top to create the layered “disco” effect.
Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a metal straw.
