Pearl of Puebla

A dark, moody, and bittersweet cocktail where mezcal acts as a masterful background anchor. It brings together an aged dark rum, Campari, and rich Averna amaro, using a calculated splash of pure mezcal to leave a beautiful trail of woodsmoke on the finish.

Instructions:

  • Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.

  • Prepare a garnish of an oregano sprig.

  • Gently muddle (just to bruise) oregano sprigs (stalks & leaves) in the base of the shaker.

  • Add other ingredients and shake with ice.

  • Fine strain into chilled glass.

  • Garnish with an oregano sprig.
