Pearl of Puebla
A dark, moody, and bittersweet cocktail where mezcal acts as a masterful background anchor. It brings together an aged dark rum, Campari, and rich Averna amaro, using a calculated splash of pure mezcal to leave a beautiful trail of woodsmoke on the finish.
Ingredients:
3 sprigs of Oregano (fresh)
5 ml Pastis
22.5 ml Lime juice (freshly squeezed)
Instructions:
Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
Prepare a garnish of an oregano sprig.
Gently muddle (just to bruise) oregano sprigs (stalks & leaves) in the base of the shaker.
Add other ingredients and shake with ice.
Fine strain into chilled glass.
Garnish with an oregano sprig.
