A sophisticated, spirit-forward stirred agave cocktail. This slow-sipping recipe pairs the earthy, roasted agave qualities of mezcal with deep, rich, and slightly bittersweet modifiers for a highly polished profile.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. reposado tequila
3/4 oz. cream sherry
1/2 oz. espadin mezcal
1 bar spoon of agave nectar
1 dash aromatic bitters
Grapefruit peel
Instructions:
Add the first 4 ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir to chill and strain into the glass over ice. Add a dash of bitters, express a grapefruit peel, and discard.
