Oak->Kin
A highly inventive, deeply savory riff on the classic Negroni structure. It utilizes pure mezcal in place of gin, but rather than stopping at the classic Campari and sweet vermouth, it incorporates an earthy artichoke amaro (Cynar) and a pinch of sea salt to enhance the smoky, bitter notes.
Ingredients:
1 oz. mezcal
1/2 oz. Jamaican rum
1/2 oz. Campari
1/2 oz. dry vermouth
1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
Instructions:
Add all of the ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a chilled coupe. Express with orange and lime peels and use as a garnish.
