Mexican Floating Summer

Mexican Summer Flotante (Floating Mexican Summer) is a simple yet elegant dessert-style cocktail perfect for warm days. Built directly in a martini glass, it skips the shaker entirely to present a beautiful float effect. It features a generous scoop of vibrant lemon, mint, and basil gelato resting right in the glass, slowly melting as a shot of artisanal mezcal is poured over the top and finished off with bubbly sparkling mineral water.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Mezcal Mitre Origen

  • 70 g lemon, mint, and basil gelato

  • 60 ml Mineral water

Instructions:

  • In a martini glass, serve a scoop of gelato, add Mezcal Mitre Origen, and top with mineral water.
