Martini Verde

Martini Verde is a refined, savory cocktail that gives a classic format a bold, Mediterranean edge. Shaken or stirred to an elegant chill, it pairs smooth mezcal with rich Castelvetrano olive brine, tart fresh lime, and citrusy Mandarin Napoléon liqueur. Rounded out with four dashes of orange bitters for added depth, this unique, citrus-sweet yet pleasantly briny martini variation is garnished with cherries.

Ingredients:

  • 2oz Desolas Mezcal

  • 0.5oz Mandarin Napoléon

  • 0.5oz Fresh Lime

  • 0.75oz Castelvetrano Olive Brine

  • 4 dashes Orange Bitters

  • Garnish: Cherries

Instructions:

  • Fill a Rocks glass with fresh ice cubes and set it aside.

  • In a shaker tin filled with mixing ice, combine all ingredients except the garnish.

  • Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds until the tin is frosty and the drink is thoroughly chilled.

  • Pour the liquid through a strainer into your prepared Rocks glass over the fresh ice, discarding the used shaking ice.

  • Skewer your cherries on a cocktail pick (or drop them gently into the glass) and place them on top of the drink.
