Malinalli

Ilegal Mezcal's founder, John Rexer, and his team crafted a wonderful cocktail and named it Malinali, which means "grass." They chose this name because in the Aztec calendar, Malinali represents the day associated with rejuvenation and tenacity.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz Ilegal Mezcal Joven

  • 0.5 oz Green Chartreuse

  • 0.75 oz pineapple juice

  • 0.5 oz lime juice

  • Rosemary sprig

Instructions:

Combine and shake vigorously. Double-strain the cocktail into a glass to remove any ice and solids. Garnish the drink with a fresh rosemary sprig.
