Maize Fizz

Maize Fizz is a bright, effervescent highball that highlights the unique toasted-corn profile of Mezcal Vago Elote. It combines 2/3 oz of the roasted-corn-infused mezcal with 2/3 oz of bittersweet Cocchi Americano Blanco and 1/2 oz of sweet grapefruit simple syrup. A squeeze of fresh lime juice and a single dash of Angostura bitters are added to balance the sweetness with acidity and spice. Stirred in a mixing glass with ice and strained into a highball glass over fresh ice, the cocktail is topped off with crisp sparkling water and cleanly garnished with a fresh grapefruit slice.

Ingredients:

• 2/3 oz Mezcal Vago Elote

• 2/3 oz Cocchi Americano Blanco

• 1/2 oz Grapefruit simple syrup

• A squeeze of fresh lime juice

• 1 dash Angostura bitters

Instructions:

• Stir ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a highball with ice, then top with sparkling water. Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
