La Vive

A Mexican-inspired riff on the modern classic Espresso Martini. This caffeinated concoction pairs the robust flavors of Mezcal with fresh espresso, coffee liqueur, and a touch of agave nectar.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz. mezcal

  • 3/4 oz. coffee liqueur

  • 1 oz. espresso

  • 1/2 oz. orgeat

  • 2 dashes Bittermens Xocolatl Mole Bitters

Instructions:

  • Combine ingredients in a shaker tin with ice and shake to chill. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish.
