How to Kill a Friend

How to Kill a Friend is a bold, deeply complex, bitter-sour cocktail that pairs the intense, artisanal smoke of mezcal with the earthy, dark herbal bite of Cynar. Shaken to a frosty chill with dry curaƧao, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and aromatic Peychaud's bitters, this invigorating drink is strained over crushed ice and crowned with a fresh mint bouquet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz. mezcal

  • 3/4 oz. Campari

  • 1/2 oz. PX sherry

  • 1/4 oz. triple sec

  • 1 1/2 oz. pineapple juice

  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

  • 4 dashes of Angostura bitters

Instructions:

  • Combine all of the ingredients in a shaker tin with ice and shake to chill. Strain into a Collins glass over crushed ice and garnish.
