Hot Oaxacan Penicillin
A warming, wintery twist on the modern classic Penicillin. It splits the base between reposado tequila and mezcal, paired with fresh ginger syrup, honey, and lemon for a smoky, spicy hot toddy experience.
Ingredients:
4 oz. hot water
1 1/2 oz. reposado tequila
1/2 oz. mezcal
1/2 oz. ginger syrup (2:1 white sugar to ginger juice)
Instructions:
Add the tequila, mezcal, ginger syrup, and honey syrup to a tempered mug and top with hot water. Garnish.
