Hot Oaxacan Penicillin

A warming, wintery twist on the modern classic Penicillin. It splits the base between reposado tequila and mezcal, paired with fresh ginger syrup, honey, and lemon for a smoky, spicy hot toddy experience.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. hot water

  • 1 1/2 oz. reposado tequila

  • 1/2 oz. mezcal

  • 1/2 oz. ginger syrup (2:1 white sugar to ginger juice)

  • 1/4 oz. honey syrup (2:1)

Instructions:

  • Add the tequila, mezcal, ginger syrup, and honey syrup to a tempered mug and top with hot water. Garnish.
