Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Mezcal (Del Maguey Vida Clásico)

  • 1 oz Orange Liqueur

  • 0.5 oz Honey Syrup

  • 2 dashes Chocolate Bitters

  • Ice

  • Optional garnishes: orange peel, dark chocolate shavings, or a twist of lime zest.

Instructions:

  • In a mixing glass, combine the mezcal, orange liqueur, honey syrup, and chocolate bitters. Add 2 oz of water to balance the flavors and prepare the mix for freezing.

  • Pour the mixture into a sealable container and freeze for at least 3 hours. This method eliminates the need to shake the cocktail with ice later, ensuring it’s ready to pour straight into your glass.

  • Pour the chilled mixture into a rocks glass. Garnish with an orange peel, dark chocolate shavings, or a lemon twist.
