El Pepe

A deeply complex, vegetal, and alpine-forward sipper. It shakes artisanal mezcal alongside the intense, botanical profile of alpine génépy liqueur, brightened with fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, muddled basil, and a slice of spicy Fresno pepper.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Mezcal, such as Del Maguey Vida

  • ½ oz. Génépy, such as Dolin

  • ½ oz. Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed

  • ¼ oz. Simple Syrup

  • 2 leaves Basil 

  • 1 slice Fresno pepper, thin

  • 4 dashes Angostura bitters

  • Basil leaf garnish
